AFK Wars turns your idle screen into an autonomous wireframe space battle. Ships collect upgrades, dodge asteroids and face escalating motherships. The free Watch edition lets the simulation unfold without piloting.
The teaser also shows Take the Helm, the optional $4.99 USD one-time upgrade. Press Space to pilot a ship in the battle already underway, steer with your mouse and use Shift to boost. Watch mode is silent; music and effects start when you take control.
Early-release standalone downloads for Windows x64 and Linux x86-64. Read installation and compatibility notes. The Linux preview is tested on Ubuntu 24.04 with GNOME/X11; Wayland is not verified.
